Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn was born in America. Anna Gunn is a US actress. In addition to playing Martha Bullock and Jean Ward, she has appeared in The Practice. Anna Gunn grew up in Sante Fe New Mexico and was awed by acting during her time at the Preparatory School. The late 70's, she and her family moved to Ohio. The theatre studies she pursued was in the theatre department at Northwestern University. A semester was completed at the British American Drama Academy. Anna worked in Chicago's theatre for a number of years before attempting TV and movie roles. Anna's first major role was Arden, in Down the Shore. She was in 29 episodes. After appearing as a Guest Actor in a variety of TV Shows and Films, including Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue in the 90's, she was chosen to play Jean Ward as part of The Practice. Martha Bullock, a character that she played for a period of two seasons in Deadwood's second season. Skyler is her Breaking Bad role from 2008. Sully, the Deadwood film, and other movies included her. Gunn was also on the stage in a David Schwimmer directed production Sex With Strangers. Gunn was in the role of the character Numbered Days in a four-part audio series that was released that will air in 2022. The relationship that exists between Walter White and his wife Skyler is often the backbone of the narrative of Breaking Bad with the strained tension in their relationship, and eventually its demise echoing the same storyline of Walter White's last years of life.
